Mixed Boundary Condition
A Mixed constraint can be partially a displacement constraint and a force load. The Mixed constraint is essentially a generalization of the Displacement constraint. Instead of just being able to set the three components to free, you are able to apply a Traction along the component directions. The sign of the traction determines the direction of the traction along a component.
Setting the Traction to zero, corresponds to allowing the same component to slide freely in the Displacement constraint.
In order to set up a well formed elastic case, the part must be constrained.
The components which are of the type Displacement is
given in millimeters (mm) or meters (m).
The components which are of the type Traction is given in newton (N) or megapascal (MPa).
