Manage Coordinate Systems
Open the coordinate system manager by clicking
Window->Manage Coordinate Systems.
In this dialog, you can add, edit and delete all the coordinate systems
available in GoSimulate. An alternative, often more convenient way, to add coordinate systems is described here.
The list to the left contains two columns, one with the name of the coordinate systems, and one indicating whether the coordinate system is being used or not by the Part(s) in the scene. If the coordinate system is in use, editing it will affect all boundary conditions referencing this coordinate system.
By clicking New, a new coordinate system will be added to the list of available coordinate systems. You will the asked to provide a unique name for the coordinate system. GoSimulate will display a warning if the name is not unique and you will once more be prompted for a name.
Once the coordinate system has been added to the list, you can tweak its parameters. These are automatically saved, and will be available if you close and restart GoSimulate.

When entering values for the coordinate systems, these will be updated so that the vectors always are normalized. Furthermore, since a coordinate system is uniquely defined by an origin and only two axes, the third axis is always automatically generated. For Cartesian and Spherical coordinate systems, the automatically generated axis is the Z-axis, while the automatically generated axis for Cylindrical coordinate systems is the Y-axis.
If you delete a coordinate system being used, all the referencing boundary conditions will be reset to the default World coordinate system.
